Thank You Prints
Hello all,
We are excited to announce that we have added a new product to our offerings - thank you prints! These prints can be used as an insert in a thank you card, or as the card itself (you can write on the back). Generally these prints are 4x6 inches, but custom sizes are available. You pick the images for the print, and we design 'em! Thank you prints are priced as follows: $39 to design the print (you will be provided with two different designs to choose from) and $1.00 per print (minimum order of 25 prints). Please add $.65 per print if you would like envelopes (available in a variety of colours). We've included some examples of thank you cards here on the blog - enjoy!

Happy Holidays to All!
It's that time of year again - the holidays are upon us! Many of you have chosen to give your loved ones custom enhanced photos or albums for Christmas; we have to say it makes us feel all warm and fuzzy thinking about the expression they'll have when they see it! We put a tremendous amount of pride into our work, so it's very rewarding to know that our clients think our products make the perfect Christmas gifts!
Aside from the gift giving - whether you celebrate Christmas, Hannukah, or just enjoy the day off work, take this season to spread joy and love wherever you can. Yes, it sounds sappy, but like Burt Bacarach sings, "What the world needs now, is love, sweet love!" A little extra love and joy really shows the most in the simple things:
-give a little to a charity (there are some great ones listed on this blog)
-hug your husband/wife a little tighter next time
-call your mom/dad and tell them you love them
-get together with your sibling(s) and do something fun
-volunteer in your community
-adopt a pet
-smile at everyone you see
Okay, we are totally not mushy people, but dang.....we've just heard too many tear-jerking wedding speeches this year - it must have rubbed off on us! But seriously - thank you to all of you for being our wonderful clients! We truly appreciate your business and we hope you have a beautiful holiday season!
Joy, love, and peace,
Laura & Chris

Ian and Jocelyn - Engagement session
On Sunday, November 6, I shot Ian and Jocelyn's engagement session. Although their wedding isn't until next spring, they wanted to do their session now to take advantage of the beautiful fall colours. Fall is also my favourite season and it's rare that we get to do an engagement session at this time of year, so I was excited! We're really looking forward to Jocelyn and Ian's wedding - thanks again for choosing us to be your photographers!

Lisa and John
We're starting our first wedding post with our last wedding of the year! Lisa and John were married on November 5, 2005, at St. Joseph's the Worker in Richmond. Although we desperately prayed to the weather gods in the days leading up to the wedding, they could not be appeased - it poured all day! Despite the soggy weather we had a great time taking photos at John and Lisa's favourite pub, the Buck and Ear in Steveston. We then proceeded to the Delta Vancouver Airport Hotel, where the reception was taking place. Having checked out the hotel lobby the day before, we knew there was some excellent architecture and fabulous furniture to work with - we even shot some images in the hotel elevator! After the photo session it was on to the reception, where we had the opportunity to photograph our most memorable wedding guest ever - Lisa's grandpa. We have never seen anyone (let alone someone of his age) bust such serious moves on the dance floor - song after song! This man definitely knew how to party and it was truly inspiring! The last photo in this post is of him gettin' his groove on!
Thank you to Lisa and John for allowing us to share your day - we had a wonderful time with you, your bridal party, and your guests. We can really see the love you have for each other and we wish you both the very best!
