Marley and Moxie

Chris and I share our lives with our two fur children - okay, they are cats, but to us they're like little people! I thought it would be neat to mention them on our blog, simply because they are such a big part of our lives. Marley is our big fluff ball (he's 6 years old and weighs about 14 pounds!) and Moxie is our little sweetheart (she's about 10 months old). They both have distinctive personalities, different likes and dislikes - just like your average person! It's fascinating to watch them interact with each other and with us, and our relationship with them has been nothing less than rewarding.

Chris and I have been animal lovers since we were kids, and have had many pets throughout our lives. The one common factor to all our experiences with pets is that they ground us. Sometimes in our crazy lives problems can seem so big and overwhelming - and yet these things are diminished as soon as I hug one of our furry little companions. The simple sound of a purring cat can comfort and reassure you on the most stressful of days, and their crazy antics will make you laugh no matter what you might be feeling. They are wonderful creatures, and we are better for knowing them.

Happy 2007!

Just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a very happy new year! It's at this time that we reflect back over the past year, and I must say 2006 was a great one. A very big thanks goes out to our clients, our friends, our family, and our fellow photographers for making this our best year ever! Our business just keeps growing and getting more exciting by the day, and we greatly appreciate the support! We are already 50% booked for the coming season, which we take as indication that 2007 will easily top 2006!
